“I can't say enough good things about Mechita's! Our son started there when he was a year and a half and he absolutely loves it. The kids are loved and well cared for, they have a great balance of free play and structured activities, delicious and healthy home cooked meals are provided every day, and the Spanish-immersion environment have greatly improved our son's language skills. They even help to potty train! Plus, the schedule of Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm is incredible for two working parents, and the monthly cost is very reasonable. I recommend Mechita's to anyone looking for a daycare/preschool in the Temescal/Longfellow neighborhood.”

“Mechitas is the best. We found it only because of proximity to family but turned into a gem. It is a perfect place for a baby/toddler. Mercedes cares for the kids like they were her own. The hours are 730-530 and she feeds them breakfast, lunch and snacks. She feeds them healthy food throughout the day. She potty trains them in record time and also weaned our kid off his pacifier as well. The best part is our kid is always excited to go to Mechitas and always gives five hugs before leaving to all his little friends. It is not as sexy as a lot of the places you can tour but it is truly an amazing place. No one will care about your kid more than Mercedes.”

“Mechita's provided a wonderful environment for our daughter! A very loving family that makes incredible homemade, healthy meals - and even got our daughter loving broccoli and kale. Full Spanish immersion, educational games, lots of music and dancing. They are absolute pros at potty training and have built a lovely community of families around the daycare. Highly recommend!”
